Hi I am going to be a senior this year, so i want to offer you some high school wisdom. Everyone has bad teachers from time to time, please don't let that get you disinterested in school. If you have a teacher who's methods you do not learn well from, ask them if they can approach it from a different way to help you learn, or stay after class for extra help.
siblings or friends are also great for learning tricks that the teacher didn't tell you.
can also can explain things differently. Honestly i like school. I am interested because i love the feeling of mastering a challenge and being rewarded or commended for it. If you challenge yourself and don't shy away from extra work, the pay off will be greater in the end. By challenging yourself, you sometimes eliminate the potential to get board. I also thrive under a little bit of healthy competition. If you know someone who is on your level, or a little above, why not try to meet or exceed the expectations that have been set? Also a little tip. In high school, it is a hell of a lot easier to stay on top once you have gotten there, than to fall down and then scramble to get back up again. I really hope you get interested in school. Nothing bothers me more than people who are handed a more or less free education in high school (unless you go to private school) and then throw it away. If you are handed an education now, take advantage of it. In college you wont have that luxury.
will have to pay, and it gets expensive. If you take an interest in school, and try hard, you will earn a lot of respect, trust, and freedom.
