Like you said, some people are just looking for points. Obviously you know that taking him the vet would be an option but you want to know if other people have experienced this also (pet owner, vet) I posed a question about my turtle and said I would be taking her to the vet in a few days but wanted options now, so people put take her to the vet. Don't answer if you cannot provide any information. It is like when people answer “I Don't Know” to a question. I agree with with the answer about a sticky so people know that this isn't the best option for certain answers.
