Comcast Modem problems, pleas HELP!
August 10, 2008 – 9:14 pmEver since i've had my xbox i've utilised a 25 measure ethernet telegram to enter my xbox to my modem and it's worked fine.
then i went on pass for 3 weeks and came backwards and proven to play.
when the difficulty started.
i essay to enter to xbox springy it doesnt impact and i go to effort the connection. it tells me that the meshwork musician is garbled no concern what i do. i went and bought added ethernet telegram in hopes that my older digit was dilapidated somehow, i came backwards bag proven it, and it ease won't work.
i went to Best Buy and traded my Xbox in for a newborn digit and it STILL WONT WORK!

If you left your modem plugged in while you were away then there's a good possibility a power surge took your modem out. I have Comcast and their modems are notoriously garbage. Unfortunately you already went through all the trouble of trading your other stuff in and it was probably the modem the whole time. If you are like me you are leasing your modem so Comcast will replace it for free. Go up to your local Comcast place and tell them your modem is fried from lightning and they should replace it for free.
