If she is shy it will be very awkward for her.I know because i'm a really shy girl too.So this is what you should do make this hotel thing a surprise.And if she gets like really nervous have a talk with her and say that nothing is going to happen tonight.
if you want something to happen talk to her about it first unless you want to be dumped.
