Hi there. I've never flown before, and am air to Texas in September, alone! I was meet wondering if anybody could country a some things up for me. I'm air from LGW (London Gatwick) Airport to Austin, conjunctive in Houston.

of my flights are with Continental airlines, and I was meet wondering what I would hit to do on the conjunctive flight? It would be magnificent if anybody had some support for me. Do I hit to intend my baggage, or module they variety it all?

  2. Since you're flying with Continental on both legs, you will receive all boarding passes in London; so that part is settled.

your bags will be checked in directly to Austin, BUT.

will however pass immigration and customs in Houston. You'll go thru immigration first (this will likely take 30-45 minutes), then you'll pick up your luggage and go thru customs (that part is usually very fast as few people are actually stopped). Once you've cleared customs, you will find a Continental counter were you will be able to drop your bags.

drop them on the conveyor, check your gate for your continuing flight to Austin on the monitors and go. No need to talk to anyone there, unless of course you need some assistance. To Heart's in the 808: international flights require you to pass immigration and customs at your port of entry in the US, Houston in this case.

need to pick up all your luggage for that. To Heart's in the 808: no problem. That's the reason why we are here ;-)
