your daughter is very smart and has picked up on that already, it's heartbreaking but her telling you this is telling you something is wrong, and that she is developing an insecurity because of the lies she is hearing from society. I like what the first answer said, buy African American baby dolls for her, and books, and tell her she is beautiful. You, as her mother have more influance over her than soicety.
