  2. EASIEST WAY go to www.crucial.com just left click on this link check for offer to test yr ram memory left click on it as soon as crucial's server contact yr computer if you have firewall installed you will receive pop-up window (notice) from yr firewall that another computer is trying to reach yr computer left click ALLOW crucial's server will test yr memory system and tell you just EVERYTHING about yr memory system : how many ram you have, in what slots installed, how many available slots, yr max available ram AND BEST OF ALL IT WILL TELL YOU WHAT IS NEWEST RAM AVAILABLE THAT IS COMPATIBLE WITH YR MEMORY SYSTEM GO ALWAYS WITH THIS NEW TYPE OF RAM BECAUSE IT OPERATES ON HIGHER FREQUENCY THAN YR EXISTING RAM MEANING MOVES MORE DATA IN SHORTER PERIOD OF TIME EQUALS BETTER PERFORMANCE crucial's service comes with no strings attached meaning it is FREE and you don't need to buy ram from them - for the end just to remind you that ram is always installed in pairs of equal type and value (that way both yr memory system and yr computer operate most efficiently) otherwise if you mix types and/or values you might actually get lower performance than before upgrading in yr case you need to buy 3 memory sticks of equal type and value (best if you go with max Gb of ram per memory stick) go with the newest type of ram crucial's server recommends for the reasons explained above ram is real cheap nowdays crucial's service is not comparable to anything else -
