Love Kids, but don't want any of my own. Am I selfish?

My stats -20 -In college to be a nurse -Currently work in a licensed daycare -Have extensive child related education -Loving, nurturing person -Pro-Life I like kids, I understand and respect them as people. I don't mind diaper duty or runny noses or drool. Yet, I really don't want children of my own. I know that if I have an unplanned pregnancy I would keep the child and raise it to the best of my ability, but I would not be happy about it. I don't want the responsibility, expense and lifestyle that goes with raising a family. I want to join the peace corps after graduating, and then work as a traveling nurse. The question states On June 30, 2008 John Sold a computer that was purchased on January 1, 2005.computer cost $40,000. It had a useful life of 5 years with no salvage value.computer was sold for $14,000. His business uses the straight-line depreciation method. (Assume depreciation is up to date as of December 31, 2007.the following Accumulated depreciation-Computer Cash 14000 Computer 40000 Gain on disposal please some one help me I figured out the cash and computer but can not find the accumulated depreciation, or the gain on disposal, I have been working on this for 4 hours now, its due by 10:00 P.M. Eastern Standard Time

I'm a recent high school grad and have don't really have an interest in anything.recently I’ve grown an interest in international business. I know I probably won’t get the most fun and rewarding career out of it, but I honestly don’t like anything else. I'm the type of person who knows when I don't like something and I know that I don't like anything because I've done tons and tons of research on every single job and career. Why is the bible so sexist, violent, and all about damnation and genocide? And seeing as you christians consider this 'proof', its pretty nasty How can a child in africa, starving and hurting, all he/she knows is the rubbish dump and cooking flour, with a parasite slowly eating its way through his body till the day he dies about love>? koi fishes life in jeopardy HELP!!?

i woke up this morning to find that 1 of my fishes scales had white spots and looked like he got beaten up either he was bitten up or he has ick i put ick medication inside my tank just in case it was but idk if the other fish were biting him or something theres 4 koi babys in my 60 gallon fish tank with 1 fancy gold fish then when i got home from work i find that now all my koi have white spots and they look very lazy like but my fancy gold fish is still ok. so then i did a water change about 15-20% of the water and idk what to do idk if there eating each other or what cause i never see them eat i put koi food in there and they just hide and i think they eat cause its been ...

Two families took me in when I had nowhere to go as a kid.had daughters that were my age.They didn't know me and even their daughters had only been friends with me for a few months.I been their fathers I'm not sure that I would've done the same.people did a good thing and I want to repay them by getting them something nice this christmas.than buying gifts for someone that I was romantically involved with I have little experience gifting.suggestions? Note: I wouldnt mind getting something for the whole family but my primary concern is getting something nice for the parents. I have about 500 bucks to spend on them. computer is running slow?

i had a friend build me a pc and it was working great then started having problems tryed to call him and he ignored me. i had to buy a xp disc to crash the pc and ever since it's has been really slow is it possible that both programs of xp are trying to run at the same time

How can I get XP to recognise all my RAM?

I recently purchased 2 X 2GB of RAM, I paired that up with my existing 2 X 512MB to give me 5GB.I boot the computer up it shows correctly as having 5GB, but in Windows it only shows 3GB. I've heard this is a problem with XP, but is there a fix to this, as RAM is so cheap nowerdays (the 4GB I just brought only cost $50), that a lot of people will be having this problem.I'm looking for is a fix to make XP recognise that it's now 2008!
